I don’t know how you feel about Valentine’s Day, but I love it! The whole idea of a day dedicated to showing the ones you love that you love them! Sounds good to me! But, it is hard to be single on this day full of awkward couples smoochin’ in your face and making you feel like love will never happen. Or maybe you’re one of those awkward couples making people feel that way. Either way, this post is for you.

Recently, I have been truly searching to feel God’s love. Sometimes it’s hard to feel His love when I’ve been learning about it my whole life. My head is full of verses that say He loves us, but my heart doesn’t always feel that way. So, I’ve compiled a little list of verses to show God’s love for each one of us.

If this is something you struggle with too, before reading these verses, go to a place of prayer with God and talk to Him about whatever is going on in your life. He wants a relationship with us and we have to talk to Him, in a real way, about real life, to foster that relationship. Anyway, I hope these verses help anyone who hasn’t been feeling the love.

Side Note: All verses are in New King James Version (NKJV).

Romans 8:37-39 – Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 3:16-17 –  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Ephesians 2:4-5 – But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)

Zephaniah 3:17 – The Lord your God in your midst,

                          The Mighty One, will save;

                          He will rejoice over you with gladness,

                          He will quiet you with His love,

                          He will rejoice over you with singing.

I hope these verses showed you the kind of love He has for you specifically! Happy Valentine’s Day! Thank you for your support and prayer!
