So here we are going into month 7. 3 more months left. I asked the Lord what He wants for me and in return He also asked me what I wanted from these last 3 months. So I made two lists! And then He told me this… “post these lists as a blog, so that at the end of the Race you can declare the work that I have done in your life”… oh goodness… So I guess here we go; this is my public declaration of faith that these will happen and that the Lord can and will work! I’m nervous, but I know He will do great things, so here they are. This is a blind step, but the Lord is faithful!
What does God want from me?
- 100 new truths list w/scripture
- Keep declaring Jesus’ love even in the little things
- Be free to be just me
- Have hope in Heaven
- Fight for goodness
- Confidence in hearing His voice
- Start making a memory list
- The enemy will try to attack my intimacy with God and intimacy with others so that’s what I need to fight for. DO NOT GET COMPLACENT
- DO NOT give the enemy ground
- You are a warrior. Justus, read back over the blog you wrote about it
- Celebrate. Simply choose joy and celebrate!
- Write blogs:
- 1. Blind man
- 2. Savior of Truth
- 3. List
- lift my head; chin up
What do I want to see happen the last 3 months –
- Someone professing Jesus
- Someone healed
- Intimacy w/ my Savior grow
- Even more growth in my desire of missional living
- Something unexpected (what was it?)
- Freedom from the pride of jealousy
- God show me that there really is so much more than what I think
- Growth in hearing His voice more clearly
- Confidence in declaring freedom
- More confident faith that I am and will be where the Lord wants me to go and be
- Experience the Lords presence in a new, even more real, personal way
