Adventure days are fun and all, but getting to the adventure is a whole other story!
I wanted to depict what normal life looks like on the race, and most of the time it’s long bus rides and learning to be flexible! The pictures are full of adventure and YES our time on the Race is incredible, but sometimes the reality isn’t as pretty as the Instagram pics!
Our ministry ended this month in Santa Cruz and my team decided to take a mini-vacation to Salar de Uyuni, the incredible Salt Flats here in Bolivia! We booked a three day tour of the flats and were super excited to finally have a little break and adventure!
Well, like most situations on the World Race, things don’t always go as planned. This is a vlog of the realities of the race where plans change in an instant and 40+ hour bus rides are “normal”.
