Right now I’m sitting in a cafe in Valle de Angeles, Honduras, thinking about the past month….. wow, it’s been pretty crazy. I don’t even know where to start but I guess I’ll start with our hosts. We’re staying with this amazing couple, David and Scarlett, who love us so much and are so servant hearted. We’ve been working at a home for disabled adults. For the past month we have been rolling a yarn type material into balls so the resident can make things to sell so they can support the place they live. There is a woman named Yolanda that comes to the house and makes us lunch and dinner and she is honestly such a blessing. Her rice and beans are iron chef quality….. ok maybe not but I’m pretty happy with it. Recently there was an election that has been upsetting to say the least. There is a lot of unrest in Tegucigalpa so its been hard for all the Honduran people. The showers are cold, our ministry is far away, and I get WiFi about once a century (ok I’m exaggerating a little bit), but I have loved every second of it.
