Yesterday was one of my favorite days of ministry so far on the race. We got to break down walls, tear down the ceiling and kick down a door. The video doesn’t do the work we put into restoring this house that has been abandoned for two years justice. It will give a glimpse into how our day here went. I am so proud of this team and loving the ministry we have had the privilege to work with this month. A ministry who takes care of one another. This demolition/restoration project was done for someone who used to volunteer with this month’s ministry partner, Conexion. We hope to go back and continue to take strides in turning this place into somewhere they can call home. Other ministry days so far have looked like , sorting ministry supplies, painting and renovating Church’s and homes, and helping run a vacation bible school. This weekend will be another great 3 days of ministry with us getting to take part in one of their medical missions weekends! Stay tuned for a blog on Monday to read how it went!
