When I look back upon my race one of the biggest lessons I’ll take away is how great God’s Provision is. Fundraising almost $18,000 is such a testament to God’s faithfulness. He is so good. I want to thank all of you who have taken part in this fundraising process and have been so willing to take what God has given you and give it back to Him. Being in a position to do God’s work every day here around the world in this sort of way is a true privilege and I couldn’t have done it without all of you. Over $1,500 came in over the last 10 days which was mind blowing. I was very tempted to dig more into my savings and pay the rest off but God challenged me to let Him take control and be my provider instead of myself. As always God’s promises never return void. The rest of the $1,500+ came in through donations from my friends and family and the friends and family of my teammate. To make it even more crazy, the last $92 came in 3 minutes before our fundraising celebration here at debrief. At the end of the day I had to put in $2,000 which means almost $16,000 came from all of y’all, which is simply incredible. Having debrief in Victoria falls has been amazing. We went to the see falls and some of us went white water rafting. Being in God’s creation is such a beautiful thing because we get to see a glimpse into the beauty that He is.
