Riots calmed down and we got to go to a nearby store today! Was already starting to get cabin fever. Bought some snacks and a pizza to be ready for more potential riots. I figured I might as well eat when I’m bored like I do back in the US.
Had a session tonight and some guys were banging on pots and pans singing about how the president needs to get out. Was a really catchy tune. The lesson was about conviction and how it can either lead to shame or repentance. It’s easy for most to mistake conviction as shame, but without conviction, how can we know what God is telling us? Great lesson.
