Heading out to Bangkok on a double decker bus. Tried sleeping most of the way. Everything was going smoothly until we got to the border crossing. Our SQL Dan wasn’t allowed through since he had already been to Thailand 3 times within the calendar year, so he had to go back to Siem Reap and fly in to Bangkok. Some weird law concerning ground travel made a complicated journey for him. The worst part, however, was when we made a rest stop. Never again will I ever get Thailand noodles. All of them are spicy.
Made it to the hostel Rooftop Residence, and the place is nice. Everyone had their own bed cubicle and plenty of bathrooms to share. Our hosts were super kind and accommodating. Looking out from the rooftop, there are occasional skyscrapers as far as you could see through the smog. The city seems endless. It takes a few hours to drive through the whole thing.
