Mass cleaning day before we leave tomorrow morning. Hung out with my team listening to music more than doing our chores. After, we all headed to Sarivong to drop off a cake for him as a farewell gift. Saying goodbye to someone you don’t know for sure you will see again is way different than to those who you know you’ll be with when you come home.
Went back home and met up with Christiaan and Ryan D for one last run to noodle man. Wish I could go one last time to all the places in Battambang that made it feel more like home. It just makes the blessings of living in the U.S. that much more apparent.
Final dinner was lasagna, salad, and ice cream for dessert. The place was strung with lights and the doors opened all the way. It was set up to let Darcy have a type of formal dinner since she won’t get to have one while living in Cambodia. Hoping she will get along well with the new team.
