This morning was fun to be on cleaning crew. Started off removing roots, but it turned into demolishing an old overgrown squatty potty and chopping down a tree to have a big fire. Totally off course of what we were supposed to do, but it sorta needed to be done anyway. I think we are going to get the field bulldozed again anyway.
Afternoon ministry was out getting bike tires filled up before heading out to meet Sarivong. When we got there, he was in his boxers like last time and scrambled to quickly get dressed. The last time we had met, he said he wanted to sing silent night in America, so we went and sang it to him in case he never got the chance to make it to the US. After, he gave us a quick study about being led by the Spirit and how you know you are being led if it lines up with the fruit of the Spirit. He was so excited to share what he learns in his daily devos, so we decided to spend Tuesday and Thursday with him to study the Bible a bit. We will only get to see him 4 more times, but I hope we will encourage him in the moments we will get with him.
Went and played volleyball after meeting with him. I was not very good. Pretty sure my team would have won quicker without me. I did meet a guy named Peter who spoke English, and got to talk to him a bit. Next time I see him I will try to bring up what he believes.
