We got team changes in the first day of debrief here in Winklespruit.
Here’s a picture of my DZ team in guatemala:

Ashley is from Ireland and it’s been fun having her along with me for the first part of my race. From one on ones and midnight grilled cheeses in Panama I’ve had some special moments with her. She’s taught me a lot in how important my walk with the Lord is and pushes me into challenges like preaching the sermon in church! She’s now a team leader with her new team.
Kasie has taught me about friendship. I’ve had lots of fun with this girl – card games, sleeping next to each other, learning sign language. She has been a big help in making sure I know what’s going on and will repeat anything I need. She’s taught me a lot about how to be selfless and how to love others well. She’s the most loving person I’ve met.
Anna is definitely living proof of being a child of God. I’ve gotten pretty close with her in the last month and half. She’s always making sure we have scripture in our team times and has taught me how to love God and how amazing He is. Anna is also a team leader of her new team now.
Mary Beth: this girl is full of music, jazz preferably. She has a lot of knowledge of the Bible and always knows what I should read based on what I’m going through or talking about. She definitely likes to be by your side in your walk with the Lord.
Marah: this girl has taught me a lot of what it’s like to have a sister. I’ve been through some tough times with her and I feel it’s only gonna be a huge part of our friendship and we wouldn’t be the friends we are now without those good and sad moments. She’s a really good person to talk to when you need advice or opinions on anything.
Lynden is now training to be one of our squad leaders so she’s the boss. She’s brought a lot of fun into my race and just being funny and learning self defense. She’s grown a lot in intentionality and making sure everyone is taking care of.
It’s been amazing to see these ladies change and grow in these last 4 months and I’ll be honest to say I’m sad not to see them everyday, and spend time with them everyday they have been my family for the last four months. I’m excited for them and the growth they are about to go through in with their next team.
Here’s my new team:we are called Five Multiplied (the five loaves turns into 3,000) we are the only team of 5 and we are wanting to just be mighty and spread the kingdom.

Mission Statement:
We will be women that
– stand firm in the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20)
– Seek the kingdom before the world (Luke 12:31)
– Hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm (Hebrews 10:23)
– Bound in perfect harmony through love (Colossians 3:14)
– Devoted to prayer together (James 5:16)
– Authenticity and transparency, always allowing the light to shine through
– Clothed with strength and dignity (proverbs 31:25)
I know that there’s a reason I’m on this team and there’s going to be many fun moments and such new memories to come. We will become pretty intimate being a small team and I just need to remember the growth I’ve been through the past 4 months and not to revert back to who I was before the race.
