This month, we have been living on a community development project/ orphanage called HOPEthiopia. There are 24 of the best kids in Ethiopia on this compound! Playing with kids is always the best ministry 🙂
I really connected with the youngest little girl. Her name is Senna and she is funny, smart, cuddly, and very dramatic. She loves to chase her friends, play catch, go on piggy back rides, eat popcorn, and be held.
I really love this little girl. I love spending time with her. My heart burst when she would run from her house to the guest house and jump up into my arms. And, one day, we were sitting on the couch in the guest house together. Senna was just sitting there, eating a peanut butter and jelly. I looked at her and thought, “Wow. I love this kid so much. I love even just sitting here with her.”. Then I could feel the Lord say, “You know, that’s how I feel about you! I delight in you!”
The Lord used a little girl to show me how much He adores me this month. And, I pray that my sweet little Senna will grow up to know How much the Lord adores her.
