One of the things that I have decided I will be doing while I am on the World Race is giving all of you a photo of the month. This photo could sum up my time in that country, it could be one of my favorite memories, it could be a photo that tells a story, or something God was teaching me. Who knows!
What better way than to start RIGHT NOW.
It is the beginning of September, school has started, work has started and my new routine is in full swing!
The picture I have decided as my photo of the month for the month of August is this:
Why? For many reasons, but mostly simply because Oregon is where I will be spending my last months before I go on the Race.
God took me to California for the summer to get my head out of the fog so I could hear Him clearly. He prepared me there for my last months in Oregon. I am ready for this season. Ready than I ever have been. In this photo, you can see the joy on my face that I feel I had to get refilled in order to face this next season.
Oregon is where God will now prepare me for the season that follows.

Things to pray for:
– Transition back into school and work. I only have 7 credits, but they are 7 very important credits and I need to get the ball rolling on my senior thesis as well.
– Time management. There are multiple jobs I am working, relationships I want to enjoy as my last season in Oregon, homework to do, World Race preparation. Pray the Lord allows me to fit it in accordingly.
– Finances. It seems God has provided well for my World Race finances, but my own personal have taken a hit with school, car trouble, and just keeping up the basic needs of staying alive and getting to my new job that is 15 miles away every day.
– For me to continue to fall in love and in step with the Savior.
