The past few weeks have been hectic and I haven’t been able to get much internet access. There’s a lot I could talk about, but I’ll start with ministry first. My squad went to two different churches and we passed out reading glasses and took people’s blood pressure and we prayed for them. My my job was to pass out water and talk to the people who were waiting in line so I got to learn some of their stories.
When you sponsor a child it not only provides a hot meal, clean water, discipleship, and basic medical care for the child, it also supports their family by inviting them through the gates of the CarePoint to receive training, discipleship and mentorship.
