Until I will be living in Cambodia with 44 other kids sharing my calling !
Over the past couple weeks, I’ve watched all my friends move into colleges across the country. Watching everyone go their separate ways is bittersweet. Sometimes I wish I would be moving into a cozy lil nc state dorm just like I expected I would be the fall after graduation. But I know that will come with time, and the Lord has set a year on my path that he knows will be bigger than anything I could imagine !
Getting life together for nine months of overseas living has been quite an adventure in itself. I’ve come to realize how much effort preparing for a year of mission work takes, from me and especially from the people who support me. It’s humbling really. Through this God has shown me that community is not only necessary but celebrated !
Meeting my world race family at training camp was the most uplifting and eye opening experience ! If you want to learn more about the ways the Lord worked through my week spent in Georgia, you can read my other blog post about that.
Y’all, in order for me as a racer to be able to launch with my teammates, I have to receive $10,000 before the end of this month. I am incredibly thankful everyone who has already monetarily supported me and my cause, and if that’s you, you rock !!! But I still need just under $3000 more raised in order to do that !
The Lord provides, that’s something I have learned. And that can happen through ***YOUuuU*** friends I am asking that you consider supporting me financially. Any little bit helps !
