Hey everyone!!!
So by now some of you are wondering, What is the World Race?
I have recently been accepted to be on the World Race, which is an 11 month mission’s trip to 11 different countries. The World Race is a part of Adventures in Missions, which is a Christian interdenominational organization that has been sending out hundreds of thousands of missionaries through short term and long term trips since 1989.
My team and I will be going to Corte d’Iviore, Ghana, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, India, Nepal, Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. Every month we will be partnering with the local missionaries there in that country and working along side of them in any capacity. Ministry could look like manual labor, preaching in churches, putting on a VBS, doing childrens ministry, working in a special needs home or elderly home, street evangelism, prayer works and much more! I am SO thankful for this opportunity and excited to embark on this journey to make the Lord’s name famous among the nations!
Okay, now that you know what the World Race is, I will explain and answer the question, Why are you doing it?
The answer is simple. I am going on the World Race to share God’s love with people around the globe. I am going to make Him known and to be a part of what God is doing around the world! The Lord is doing some amazing things! He wants us to step out of our shell and comfort zone, whether it be in our own backyard or in a foreign country, and share His love to those who may have never heard it before. I am taking a leap of faith and devoting 11 months to traveling the globe, serving and forming relationships with others so I can share the good news of Jesus Christ to them. I cannot wait to see what God has in store for my team and I before, during, and after the trip!
He has been already working and showing Himself in some awesome ways 🙂 – Look out for my next blog post where I share about how God has been moving and revealing His goodness to me!
