Hey everyone!
Right now, I’m sitting on a rooftop at a hostel in Manila, finishing up my breakfast and trying to connect to wifi to upload this blog post. Our squad has just finished up debrief, a time where we all come back together and share about our last month of ministry since we were all spread out around different islands in Indonesia. I’m so excited to start our ministry here in the Philippines, but I’m also missing our Bali ministry hosts and the community we had there.
I put together some video clips to recap our time in Bali, and I noticed that a lot of what you will see is from our rest/adventure days. These days might have included a trip to a beach or waterfall, our stay at a villa for a night, or visiting local markets/cafes/tourist spots. What you will not see in the video is most of our ministry during the week, which included teaching English, investing in our C3 North Kuta church community, outreach to locals and tourists, and praying for people that we would meet and sharing Jesus with them. And in the evenings we would have connect groups/house church at different people’s homes around the island. This was such a big part of our ministry in Bali, but Greg and I didn’t really take any videos during that time, so I just wanted leave that disclaimer here. But I was able to include some video of our children’s ministry which was always a fun time!
Enjoy the video and we’ll share another update with y’all soon about what our ministry in the Philippines looks like!
Love you all!
Alyssa
