Hey there!
I’m not quite sure how to explain or pick the the most interesting or relevant things about myself to share with you, but here it goes:
I love encouragement. My greatest joy is to remind people that they’re worth something because they’re His.
I’m one of those dorks that just really loves high school. The good people of Cinco Ranch have loved me well, and waking up everyday and trying to repay them for their kindness has made the last couple of years pretty grand.
I’m a painfully bad singer and a shameless dancer. I’m a friend to all dogs, a running enthusiast, and a live music fanatic.
I am without a doubt right brained. My life is run by my creativity and I’ll probably be looking for ways to do crafts or color or paint in every place we stop while on the race.
I love letters and run on sentences. My most prized processions are letters or notes of encouragement, and if you know me personally there’s a pretty good chance I’ve written you one.
I love storytelling(I’m not that great at it, but I’m learning:)
I’m a big fan of 80’s movies and Parks and Rec. Anything with dumb humor or puns gets to me, and I will likely use a movie reference or a P&R joke the first time we meet.
I laugh so hard I cry pretty regularly-depending on the company it can become a daily thing, but I’ve been known to laugh that hard at my own jokes. I’m also really bad about laughing in uncomfortable situations, but I promise I’m working on it.
I think everyone should read 1 Corinthians 13 more. I think the English language has failed us by trying to capture the entirety of love with only one word, and I think it should be associated more as an action verb, instead of a feeling or emotion. Love does, not Love feels like.
MOST importantly I am excited out of my mind for The Race!!!! I don’t think it will completely register with me that I’m leaving my little suburban bubble and famishing nine months without Chick-fil-a or missing the new Star Wars movie until I actually launch, but heck y’all, God’s gonna rock that year.
