Wow. It’s been a entire three months since I said goodbye to everyone and everything I knew to follow the crazy calling Papa placed on my life. The days go by slow but the months fly by. It feels as if I just got to Launch in Atlanta, and now I call Thailand home?!!?! I guess time flies when you’re living your best life.
These past three months I have called three different countries home, and grown more than I ever thought possible. Growth is hard, But growth is so so good. I thought i’d take a moment to jot down 10 things that I “knew” before the Worldrace, but now know like I know the sun rises again every morning.
I hope these serve as the sweetest reminder of what we are all called to and cable of.
We are children of the Creator. Wow. How unworthy are we?
- If you choose to walk daily with a “yes” spirit, the Lord will use you fiercely.
- Light and darkness cannot coexist. Spoiler alert: light wins.
- Our lives are rigged for the glory of the Father.
- The battle has already been won. Love has won. But it doesn’t mean you don’t have to fight for things & people you love.
- The church has a heartbeat. It’s global. It’s moving. And it’s alive.
- If you bring your own expectations to the table, you will be let down. Every. Time. His plans are sovereign and so much better.
- Fighting for community is hard, But its worth it. Choosing connection over correction is crucial.
- If Papa calls you into something, no matter how hard, He will give you the strength to get through it.
- He wants to give us the deepest desires of our hearts when they line up with His. And the truest joy stems from diving into the desires He has placed in you.
- Communication with the Father is always open. He is always there. Constant. Steadfast. Come with expectant prayers. And if the answer is no, or wait- He is still good.
It’s a challenge to sum up 3 months of living on the mission field but these are the words the Father asked share. I hope one of them, or maybe even all of them spoke to your soul. And brought you a shred of encouragement-to live every moment to the fullest extent. He has called us to a life of glory. Of goodness. Of FUN. and there is no place more fun than in the center of His will. He desires us. He is for us. He is always in our corner. And we always have a seat at His table. Our Dad is goooooood. Be confident in that.
So, Hugs from Thailand. Month three is well on its way!!! We will be working these next two months with a foundation called Abba House. It’s located right outside of the heart of Chiang Mai. And we will be living and teaching girls + boys who have been directly effected by the Red light district. So they have either been trafficked into sex-slavery, have a parent who is a working prostitute, or a parent orphaned by murder in one of the more remote northern villages in Thailand. We are coming so expectant that the Father will move. And that we are exactly where He has asked to be. I ask that over the next two months you cover my team and I in prayer that we would be vessels. and good ones at that. I am ecstatic to jump into this ministry!!!!!!
Ps- I am still about $3,000 from my final goal. And the December deadline is rapidly approaching. I know the Lord would not have gotten me this far if I weren’t suppose to be here. But with that being aid, If i fail to make the deadline this next month, I will be coming home. I know he is good. And his plan is good. And that you all will give. You always do, so selflessly. Thank you in advance for all you will do. And for believing in me. You alongside me are world-changers.
All my love!!!!!!
