Isaiah 52:7 Ah, how beautiful the feet of those on the mountain
who declare the good news of victory, of peace and liberation,
The voice that calls to Zion, that chosen place for God’s promise people,
announcing to them “Your God rules!”

Why do you share the gospel??

K-“If I don’t share it then I know that people will miss out on eternity with Jesus and I just can’t live with that.”

How would you describe the good news??

K- “It’s the best news, I mean Jesus literally came down to this earth and was a perfect human being, like came in the form of flesh and died for us. How is that not good?! This perfect man took every weight and every pain and everything on a cross for US because he was so selfless and the fact that he loves us so endlessly. Sooo that’s freaking good news to me!!

And I’m going to heaven and I’m gonna hang out with Jesusss!!”

Was there ever a time you shared to good news and it didn’t pan out like you expected it would? What did you do about it afterwards??

K- “Um yeah when we were in South Africa we went to a house and there was a man and he told us all about how he was falling away from his faith. His family left him and his son didn’t want to come home, so we told him about Jesus and he was really really receptive like really interested and excited. We asked him “do you want to receive that today?” and he said no, “i really need to think about it”. We said ‘oh okay that’s fine’. We didn’t really say much after that and we came back the next week and asked him if he had thought about it and he said ‘yea I can’t right now’ ‘my life isn’t good enough’. At that point I just sat there and I had to pray for him because at that point only the Holy Spirit could intervene

That was really hard but I believe one day he will be saved because he wants it, you can tell but he is just not there yet”

If you could give the people back home encouragement on how/the importance to spread the good news at home what would you say to them?

K- “It is urgent. Everybody needs to know so like the more people you tell, the more people you’ll see in heaven, and so why leave someone out.

Random acts of kindness! Simply buying someone a coffee and turning around and asking if they have five minutes to chat. Just being real simple.

The gospel does not have to be shoved down someone’s throat, it’s a simple gospel”
