Theodora//of Greek origin meaning “gift of God”
An answered prayer came to me as we were simply walking through the neighborhood. A woman motioned us to come to her on the other side of the street and we got talking. Mentioned our intentions here in South Africa, prayed over the pain in her mouth and that led to an invitation to her house. 
Since that divine encounter Ky and I have developed an amazing relationship with Theodora. We visit her house as much as possible to get to know her life story more and more, give godly advice and of course DANCE.
Single mother of two now grown daughters. Theodora has been unemployed for the past 3 years due to her secretary job moving to Cape Town. She rents a one room apartment and shares a bed with her last born. All of Theodora’s income since her divorce in 2003 had gone to renting the best living situation she could afford as well as supporting her two daughters education. Not only basic education but she went as far to pay for BOTH her daughters tuitions for the several degrees they now have that got them their well paying jobs today.
Theodora, regardless of the her life circumstances, has always put her daughters education as the top priority, knowing that it will set them up for an easier life than hers.
But with the apartment security completely non existent, other than a metal gate that is easily accessible, it had become extremely appealing to robbers that would come with ease past dusk and rob at gunpoint much too frequently. Leaving Theodora with possession becoming only but a memory and fear every night that it will happen again. Before we left her house the first time we met her Ky and I had prayed over her family and herself, protect and provision. To this day she has been protected from burglary to this day. Spiritual protection led to physical protection; I came to find out two weeks or so, after our first encounter, the apartment building had just put a huge metal sheet to enforce security.
