I want to start off by saying thank you so much to each and every person who has been supporting me so far on this journey through prayers, encouragement, and donations!!! It really does mean the world to me. ThankYouThankYouThankYou!!!
I am fully aware that money is tight, especially around the holidays. Many of you have expressed that you would like to support me financially, but are unable to. Others of you want to know of more ways you can be involved in my Race. So I have compiled a list of ways you guys can support me at little to no cost to you! And, for many of these items, you get something in return too! It’s a win-win situation!!!
NO COST TO YOU:
- Is there anything lying around your house that you’ve been meaning to get rid of for months or even years?! FANTASTIC! One man’s junk is another man’s treasure. Send me your random stuff (clothes, furniture, books, art, CD’s, electronics, etc.) and I will gladly sell it online and/or at yards sales to raise funds for the Race! Also, if you have an old car (in working order) that you don’t use anymore and want to get out of your hair, I’d love to sell the car to earn money to put towards the Race!
- Do you own a business, or know someone who does? I will be hosting a silent auction in the coming months to raise support for my Race, so any donated products to that cause would be much appreciated!
- Do you drink soda, bottled water, juice or any other bottled beverage? I would love to collect any and all of your empty bottles to return for cash!
- In addition to my field expenses, I have to raise extra funds in order to purchase my supplies for this trip (backpacks, tent, bedding, and a long list of other personal items). If you have any camping gear that you think would be useful to this trip, and you’re willing to let me borrow it for a year, send me a message!
- If you have any great fundraising ideas, please let me know!
LOW COST TO YOU:
- Most of you know that the food at my house is pretty much legendary. Feel free to send me requests for homemade breads, cookies, muffins, etc.
- Are you tired of your Children? Or do you just need a night out? Well, I LOVE kids, so if you need a babysitter, I’m your girl! I can also house-sit or pet-sit!
- Do you have any yard work and/or house projects that need done? Do you find taking down holiday decorations a hassle? I’d love to help you out!
- Has this Oregon weather taken a toll on your car? I can give your car a wash and make it look as good as new.
- Do your kids need help with their homework? You’re in luck because this 4.0 student would love to tutor them.
- I know you hate carrying around loose change! Fill a small jar with your pesky coins and send them my way!
- I have my “Adopt-A-Box” fundraiser going on right now! Go check it out Here!!! All you have to donate is $1.00!!!
