The fact that MONTH 7 has now come and gone is MIND-BOGGLING to me!

We spent this month all together as a squad in the little country of Kosovo. We were in Pristina, the capital city, and worked with a Pentecostal church called Fellowship of the Lord’s People. The Christian population is very, very low in Kosovo as it is a predominantly muslim country. This left a lot of room to bring Kingdom!

The first week we were there we participated in an event called Impact Kosovo 2018 that was hosted by the church. People traveled from all over the country and the world to attend this event. During this week we partook in street evangelism every night in multiple cities around the country. I personally worked with the children’s programs and made balloon animals and loved it! We even did a flash mob, which was definitely a first!

After the first week, we divided and conquered with whatever the church needed help with. Some of us helped in their thrift stores and others helped in a preschool. My group did many vaiours tasks. We helped at their warehouse, sorted through lots and lots of boxes for the thrift stores that the church owns, organized the church library, and even brought care packages to adults with disabilities.

We had the chance to build many great relationships with people around the city and share Jesus with them, and saw lives changed because of it!

Sometimes it is hard to see menial tasks like sorting clothes and organizing books as “real ministry”. And I’ll be honest, sometimes it was hard to stay positive through those monotonous days. But if God taught me anything, it’s that nothing that we do for Him is ever pointless. And that’s why we should always strive to do our best in every endeavor- because He deserves nothing but our best.

At our last church service our hosts gave us shirts that said “A piece of my heart is in Kosovo” and I couldn’t agree more.

Now onto Month 8 in Romania, our last country in Eastern Europe!
