My voice is loud but it’s not my fault if no one takes the time to listen to me. My words have value because they have truth and wisdom that comes from the Lord. I can be loud, but that doesn’t mean people always hear me or want to listen to me. Like everyone else I get interrupted or someone thinks what they have to say is more important than what I do. The only one who always hears me is Jesus. I can trust him to truly listen to me and not get distracted by other things or to interrupt me. The Lord is always listening to my thoughts and prayers because he loves me, and he loves spending time with me hearing what I have to say. Thank you Lord for always listening to me and not always speaking in the ways I expect or want, but speaking in the ways that you know I will listen.
Thank you Lord for always doing things your way and not mine. Thank you Jesus for giving me ears to listen to and hear others. Thank you Jesus a mouth to speak your truth to those who are willing to listen even if there is a language barrier.
Our voices are so important, and the words we use should always be pleasing to the Lord. If they’re not then somethings wrong.
I often have to remind myself that the reason I am here on this planet is to please the Lord not people and not even myself. God created us to bring glory to him and let people know and feel his great love!
The Lord speaks to us in so many different ways but often times we don’t have our eyes pealed to see that it’s him. He also directs our thoughts and often time we don’t realize that it’s him.
Look alive people, the Lord will speak to you, but you just have to be ready to listen and hear what he has to say because it is usually something important.
The Lord speaks to me sometimes in the smallest details. For example, yesterday we had come back to the village after spending the night at a friends house and most of the kids came running to us welcoming us home. We were only gone for maybe 24 hours and they already missed us. But this was just one of those reminders of how much the Lord loves me. He often reminds how much he loves me through my teammates and their comments towards me.
Our God is such a personal and intimate God and he delights in giving us the desires of our hearts. He loves us so much and sees us despite our past and our sins. We are his children and he cares so much for us.
