“Hello Beautiful!”
She laughed when I said this.
She pointed to her wrinkles, and said she wasn’t
I told her ‘I want her wrinkles when I get old,
I hope I look like her with lines that say ‘I’ve lived a life’.’
She said she was ready to die because home was a mat on the road,
this wasn’t how she wanted to live any longer.
We told her, “the God you said YES to just last week, thinks your beautiful.”
The God you said YES to loves you so much.
He loves you because your smiles brightens the world,
Your heart bursts from your chest,
Your laughter pushes out the darkness around you.
God is within you.
God loves you because you CHOSE HIM.
He had already chosen you before you were born,
You already had a throne next to his in heaven.
Your crown was waiting on a purple pillow of royalty.
He was waiting to hold your delicate hand in his,
for you to grab on and never let go.
91 is never too old to say YES to Jesus,
you are perfect just the way you are.
How you live is never considered by God,
He already loves you just the way you are.
What you have done in your past doesn’t matter,
He loves despite your sins.
God is waiting for you with His arms wide open,
ready to receive His sons and daughters.
