On Saturday we left El Salvador and headed to Guatemala. We said a lot of hard goodbyes to all the people we met in Santa Ana, we got to share memories and have fun and of course I cried a lot. If I am being honest El Salvador wasn’t a reason I signed up for this route, it was just another country. Looking back on our experience I think we were meant to go to El Salvador to see what we were overlooking. I know it is a little early to say this but I know El Salvador will be one of my favorite countries and it will be a time and place that will always stay in my heart.
I want to say thank you to the Rhine family for adopting my El Salvador Jar, for filling it with love and encouragement and praying for God to work in my heart. At the end of each month I will be posting a favorite picture or two depicting my time in each country. Right now my words are failing me, I don’t know how or what to say about my time in El Salvador other than it was amazing and my heart longs to go back. Please look for my hearts message in these photos when I don’t know what to say.
