Hi friends!!
Sorry it’s taken me a bit to get around to writing a blog about what my team is doing here in Haiti!!

This month we are working alongside Jesus Way Christian Ministries. We are helping our host with hosting short term mission teams as well as going to ministry with them!
We arrived on Monday, April 23, into Port au Prince, Haiti, and then traveled to our ministry city, Bon Repo. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday we had the opportunity to work along side a medical, dental, evangelical team that went to three churches and offered the community free checkups. It was absolutely amazing to see how the Lord provided for this ministry.
They have an old school bus that was donated, and they completely renovated the inside to a medical office on wheels. Seriously so cool.
Each day we loaded up and set out to the church that was hosting the team. The bus was unloaded and different stations were set up including evangelism (someone shared the Gospel), prayer (anyone who wanted to accept Jesus as their Savior or had prayer requests), medical (checkups and medicine distribution if needed), chiropractic (how awesome?!), dental, and on their way out they received a bag of rice, beans, water, and a hygiene bag (until we ran out).]
I have friends in the medical field and having heard of medical missions, but having no experience in the area, I never thought I’d have front line view of the Lord at work in this specialty. It was truly a blessing to see Him work in this way!
This week we have been preparing the guest house for the next team arriving on Friday. We will be hosting them as well as serving with them at an orphanage by hanging out with the children and doing some handiwork around the place!!
We went to the beach last Friday and were able to soak up a few rays and enjoy the BEAUTIFUL seaside.
It’s crazy how beautiful yet broken this half of the island is. It has had so much devastation and not much growth economically.
We aren’t allowed to leave our gated area (definitely not without one of our beloved, amazing local friends) for the most part per safety.
Please be in prayer for Haiti and that people would be open to hear about the Good News. Pray that the country’s economy and physical state would be renewed.
Thank you all so much for your continuous support and prayers for me throughout these last nine and a half months. Y’all never cease to amaze me with your interest in what the Lord is doing and your sweet notes and comments! I love all of you more than I even know how to say, and I am so excited to see y’all!!
