Hello,

This past year I’ve spent a lot of time in prayer trying to figure out what college I want to attend in the future and what I would major in, and throughout all the time spent praying about this, a gap year spent doing mission work kept popping into my mind. With much research and much more prayer, I’ve decided to spend my next year (2017-2018) on a World Race gap mission trip. This means I will be traveling to five places in nine months helping the needy and spreading the word of God. My trip will travel to the Dominican Republic, Hati, South Africa, Botswana, and the Philippines. I cannot wait to see lives change and where this journey takes me. Many of you know that I’ve been on multiple summer camps, retreats, and conferences with my church youth group and many of you have even helped support me attend those trips! While those trips were absolutely amazing and have helped me grow in my faith in extreme ways I have a desire to take my love for The Lord and help others. This Mission trip will allow my to help others in great ways, I ask you to please prayerfully consider supporting me on this journey. I have a fundraising goal of $14,951, and while I know not everyone will be able to support me financially I do ask that you would consider supporting me prayerfully.
If you are willing to support me I am here to answer any questions you may have about the ministry or how to donate. Feel free to call/text me (478)973-4350 or email me [email protected]. You can visit my blog to donate online, emilyferrer.worldrace.org or mail a check directly to Adventures in missions, please be sure to include my card so it goes toward my trip. Thank you so much for your help, I wouldn’t be able to take this opportunity without the great community I am in, financial support, or the prayers.
Thank you,

Emily Ferrer
