Sometimes ministry in Romania looks like:
- Handing out eyeglasses and Bibles to the Elderly
- Putting New Testaments in houses of villages (and being repaid with grapes, walnuts, jam, and corn)
- Evangelizing in the streets with Google Translate
- Preparing for a kids ministry but being greeted with 3 teenagers
- Playing the ukulele for a church service
- Passing our more Bibles… in the rain
- Talking with women about what it means to have a relationship with the Lord
- Baptizing a city in prayer and asking the Lord whether it is time to plant a church there or not
- Improv worship because your computer (with all of the ukulele chords) dies mid-song
- Emptying a wood out of a wood shed
- Refilling a wood shed with the same wood that was just emptied from it
- Watching your ministry host’s neighbor’s child so that she’s able to get school work done
- Running a kids club while dodging chickens
- Playing with the street kids while ordering shoarma
- Sharing your testimony during a church service
- Getting Starbucks and talking with locals about starting a Bible study in their city
- Just being available for the Lord to move, even outside of set ministry times
This is just a small taste of all of the awesome things that we got to experience in Draganesti-Olt, Romania. Our squad had such an awesome time ministering in this city. We’re currently in Brasov, Romania debriefing the last month and getting ready to head out to Ukraine!
Please keep me and my squad in your prayers as we prepare to head out for our next country. Thank you all SO much for your support and love! Also, I am not fully funded yet so if you are feeling led to donate, it’s very simple to do it on this blog! I love y’all!!
