Currently I am in Seattle about to fly to Denver for a friend’s wedding. I met this guy on my international race, and he is now one of my best friends. After his wedding, I will be joining back up with my team and squad to start ministry in Colorado on August 1st so I’ll share be sharing about it on my Newsletter in August.
Spiritually this past month has been my best month yet. I don’t really know any other way to describe it. God has taught me more about who he is and WHOSE I am, and I have experienced a lot of breakthrough. I am going to write about what the Lord taught me. Check out my next blog. It’s titled: Obedience Before Freedom.
Financially, I am doing better. This is actually a huge part of the story I am about to write about. As of right now, I have $2,775 of $8,000 raised. This is not including recent donations, but I still need to raise around $4,000 to be fully funded. I have a deadline to be fully funded by September 1st, and that gives me 6-7 weeks to do so.
I don’t want to ask you to donate to me; this IS NOT about me. This is about us partnering together to see the Kingdom of God be established here on earth. To share in the blessing of knowing Jesus Christ together.
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” -Matthew 28:18-20
These three verses reassure me that our efforts together are more than worth it. The love and support I have received since I’ve started pursuing missions 3 years ago has been overwhelming. It has taught me more about faith and community than anything else, and I am confident in what the Lord is doing here in our country.
