As most of you already know, my name is Dosson Stubblefield. I am an average guy from small town Alabama who has lived a very average life up until three years ago. I lived at home until I was 19 years old before moving away for college. I was still only an hour and a half away from home so weekend visits were very frequent. I had never left the southeast of the United States and had never flown before I graduated from The University of Alabama in May of 2016. I had hopes and dreams of going to grad school and becoming a chiropractor.

That all changed in the following months when I began to question what life was really about. I have always believed in Christ and had just recently, February of 2016, truly dedicated my life to Christ. Since that initial pursuit for the “more”, I have been on 27 flights, 30 bus rides, and 2 ferries. I have been to 17 countries and 4 continents to serve in various ways that I thought I never would. From preaching and teaching to living in community with special needs adults; I got to experience the character of God.

For those of you who may not know; I went on a mission trip to Israel, and then a few months later left for The World Race. The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 countries. Since my return home in June of 2018, I have been searching for my next step, and I have struggled in the process.

Not having a job has given me a lot of free time that I get to chose how I spend it. I am already a deep-thinker, so having this amount of time to dissect the world around me has opened my eyes to a lot of things.

The thought of leaving temporary things behind in this temporary life is not the end goal. I desire to leave things behind that have an eternal impact. I want to leave things that are proof that this life was never the end goal, that there was something after this life that I was focused on.

World Race America is an opportunity for World Race alumni to travel the country to serve others. Our first stop will be at a homeless shelter in Asheville, NC.

I want to ask that you be praying for our group during our time on World Race America, and consider partnering with me financially. I have $8,000 to raise for the trip.
