We spent month 6 in Yangon, Myanmar. It was unlike anything we have experienced so far on the race, and it was incredible. Unique is the best way to describe the people and the culture of Myanmar. They are some of the most beautiful and kind people I have encountered on the race.
As I mentioned in my last blog, we taught English and preached at the morning and evening chapels. Through the English classes, chapels, and free time with the students we grew very close to them. Leaving them was very difficult, and there is no doubt another piece of my heart is there at Myanmar Mission College with those students.
Month 6 was also the ending of our time in Asia. Asia has so much to offer, and being able to experience a few of the different cultures was more than I deserve. I am thankful for all that God was able to do through us during our time there and I am excited to see all that is to come.
We are now here in Lesotho; Our first stop in Africa. I can’t wait to share more about what I have already experienced just in the 3 days I’ve been here. The best way to describe it so far is breathtaking. God never fails to amaze me with His goodness.
Also, if you don’t know already I am going to be completely disconnected until February 27th. This blog will be posted by our storyteller leader. So I just want to take this opportunity to tell all of you thank you. I am so blessed to share this experience with you. I love you guys! God bless
