The 17 Day Journey is what I’m calling this blog, and I will get into why in just a moment! I’ve been trying to write another blog ever since I wrote my last blog, but I’m finally getting around to it!!

The reason I’m calling this blog “The 17 Day Journey” is because I have 17 days to raise $4,500! Lately when people have been asking me how I’m doing on fundraising, and when they ask me how long I have until my next deadline, and when I tell them a lot of times I get a look of doubt! And for a while I let that get to me because I felt like people were just 100% doubting me, but this weekend I went on a two day, sixteen mile backpacking trip in the Mountains of Ellijay, Ga on the Appalachian trail! I was in the front for most of the hike keeping a good pace, but I was also pretty quiet on this hike because I was just trying to listen to the voice of god about what he was wanting to speak to me, because being out in nature is one of my most favorite places to hear him speak to me. When we finished the first day of hiking we set up our hammocks and just kinda chilled out. Laying there in my hammock up in the mountains at a shelter (home) for the night, I felt at peace… I felt confident about raising my money that I needed to hit my next goal! Let me just tell you that is one of the best feelings ever! So I can’t wait to see how god is going to show up and show out in these next 17 days to help me tackle this next deadline of $10,000!

Ever since I have been home from training camp everyone has been asking me how was it, or what was the hardest part. I think that the hardest part of training camp was leaving… after 10 days in the woods with these people they became my family, and people I felt like I have known forever! And I knew when I got back home I wouldn’t have the amazing mentors around me like I did all day everyday at training camp! But a week after training camp I met back up with some of the georgia world racers on my squad at passion city, and grace midtown and man oh man it felt great being back with them! The Crazy thing is I get on a plane to The Dominican Republic with my amazing squad mates in 1 month and 3 days, and I am literally so excited!

I am so stoked to be spreading god’s kingdom across the nations! I am ready to serve, give hope, share the gospel, see people give their lives to Jesus, and so much more amazing things that are going to happen throughout these amazing 9 months on the field!

But like always I cannot do this without your support! I really need your help financially for me to be able to go on this amazing journey! So please please please pray about donating to help make this possible for me! Also please keep me in your prayers! Thanks!!

John 14:27

27- Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
