I know a lot of people from different squads have been writing a blog similar to this, and I am in the same boat as them so here we go!! I’m just going to be completely straight forward with you…
I need your support with this trip, because I have a fundraising deadline of 5,000 coming quick… And I’m not gonna lie fundraising is hard, and it is bringing me out of my comfort zone a good bit and helping me to be completely dependent on god, which is awesome!! Because I’m a senior in highschool with a job, and I’m trying to raise $14,951… but I always try to convince myself that I shouldn’t worry about it because my god has this under control and it will all be in his timing when the money comes in. And as of right now I think he is testing me to see how much I will trust him because I haven’t had an online donation in over a month, which is okay because like I said God has it in control, and he has the people out there ready to plant a seed to my trip. So if you’re reading this I ask that you pray about donating to my trip and it doesn’t matter what amount it is because anything helps!! I don’t think people realize what an amazing opportunity this is to share his love, and I just ask that you be willing to donate and not hesitate to do so!! I was going to wait a little longer to write a blog like this, but I need to let people know that I need their help!!
On a different note here are some awesome events that have happen to me lately!! So Here is a little back story of an awesome thing that happen to me!! The story is that I Have been needing a computer and I found a MacBook that I wanted on facebook, and so I messaged the guy (s/o to Wesley) telling him why I needed it ( For blogging/video purposes when I get on the race) because I sold my loaded Macbook a couple months ago because at the time I had no use for it anymore.. Anyways lol we started talking and he actually went on The World Race, and I also came to find out that he goes to a church that I have been going to a lot on sunday nights called Grace Midtown! Then we met up and he just GAVE me the computer for free and said “let me bless you” and man all I could think was how crazy god is, and the people he puts in our paths!!
Speaking of Grace Midtown, I finally got to meet up with some fellow world racers from my squad, and also from different squads Sunday night! And that was awesome, because they were such cool people to be around, and we just had an amazing time worshipping together and having quality convos over a cup of coffee!! ps. Grace, Daisa, Zahli, and lillabea you’re all amazing!!
So everyday if you could just keep me and my squad in your prayers as we are all going through the same journey! And just also maybe pray about donating and planting a seed into my trip!
