HELLO!!
My team and I have made it to Ternopil, Ukraine! all squad month is over and our squad is broken up all over Ukraine. My teams ministry this month is teaching English at University to about 1,000 students over the next couple of weeks. We have been in Ukraine for four days and so far we have been passing out fliers around the city square advertising our English class and singing the national anthem to promote it. We are living in your typical three bedroom Eurpopean flat, it feels super homey and has been really great getting to settle into more of a normal routine for the month. We have a super sweet Ukrainian woman named Valentina who fixes us dinner and helps clean the flat and we have the best translators. They are all around our age and are teaching us all sorts of useful Ukrainian phrases like ‘Hi, how are you’ and equally as important ‘I want to go fishing’. Prayer requests for this month is that we would continue to grow closer as a team and that we would be able to reach out and build relationships with the people we are teaching to.

Fun facts to spice up your day:
1. In Romania and Ukraine my name is Clara, so y’all can start calling me that because I like it better.
2. There is a knock-off Starbucks here called Star Coffee that has the same color scheme as Starbucks and is one of the few places with English on the menu.
3. I am addicted to Nutella and have had a minimum of three jars of this past month.
