We are partnered with KIM, Kids International Ministry. What an amazing ministry it is! They’ve done a fabulous job at really seeking out the needs of the community and running with the help of the Holy Spirit to build up the kingdom here. They have many branches of ministry opportunities such as working with and teaching at the two schools they have, help out at the orphanage, working with the woman at the birthing clinic, swimming lessons, construction in the community, and feeding.
One that I’ve really became passionate about is the feedings that KIM have created. As of right now, we have two feedings a day, Monday through Saturday. They have found many communities and local villages where the children are in need of food. For some of these children, the feeding may be the ONLY nutritional meal they have a day, possibly even a week. KIM feels that God have them food as a tool to impact children’s lives with. There vision is to be focused on a program for the kiddos which could include a skit, bible story, and games. Their hope is to feed both their hearts and their bodies.
SO IMPACTFUL.
Since now, only being here a week, I’ve already seen the fruit that bear from the feedings. It’s actually remarkable. Seeing the children’s faces light up when they see us. Truly seeing them listening and learning about the Lord who will always provide for us and never fail us then seeing them shoving down the food that they just blessed in Jesus’ name.
The Lord is working so tediously through feedings. I truly believe this. And it’s not ending there. We are trying to find contacts on these local communities and villages who will be willing to parter with the feedings that are already established. Any church, school, or local Christ follower to be the one sustain the established feeding. The hope is for the community to have someone who is there, living everyday, as a man or woman of God to seek guidance in anyway to further a relationship with the Lord. With the hope of these contacts and partnerships, the ministry will just provide the supplies necessary for them and be able able to seek out more and more communities who need also are in need.
I’ve become very passionate about this and can’t wait to share all that the Lord does through this ministry!! Please pray for revival and the Lord’s goodness be so presence through every spoon full of food.
