It’s been awhile, and I’ve been in Ecuador now for 2 months.
I’ve been working at a Ministry called Pan De Vida. Which in Spanish means “Bread of Life”.
We’ve been working and doing a variety of things from building houses, to helping cook for our feeding program, to teaching kiddos about Jesus. Also though we’ve been doing a lot of the behind the scenes type of work for the ministry. Its been such a blessing to be in the same spot for a period of time, and truly build friendships and relationships here in Ecuador
Being away from home is sometimes hard to feel connected with those around you when you are traveling place to place. So being at my ministry Pan De Vida, Ive been able to invest myself into the ministry and build relationships. In all honesty Pan De Vida has become like family to me because of how welcoming they have been to us.
And i think that solely is because we are in the same body. We are brothers and sisters in Christ, and our aim is all the same. To bring others to know Christ, and love on people a long the way, and grow in our relationships with the Lord.
And I think thats the beautiful thing in doing missions in another country. To see the diversity in the cultures, but when in comes down to it we are the same in our faith with other believers. Our lives may be different, but our faith in the Lord stays the same.
And the same God that is with us.. is the same God that is with them.
And the same goes for you.. the same God with me.. is the same God that is with you.
And that’s pretty dang cool.
I love y’all

oh P.S. I’ll be home in 25 days!
