For those of you who don’t know I just got back from training camp for the World Race this past week. I spent 10 days in the Georgian heat surrounded by my new teammates all there with the mindset of getting closer to God and spreading the gospel to The Nations.
So much happened at training camp, but ill try to narrow down some of the highlights.
For those 10 days I tented. I lived in a tent for the first time in my life. My teammates were inches from me at all times. This is what they call “community living”. You are literally surrounded by people all the time.

This is my Community- my tribe I’ll be spending 9 months with. 42 amazing God fearing men and women . The most random group of individuals with so many different talents and passions that I’ve ever met, But together we come together in a perfect way.

And this is my ministry team that I will be living with starting in india! These girls are amazing! This picture was taken right before we did our pack hike!

Oh and yes I ate crickets ! like 5.. lol. They weren’t too shabby actually! They sautéed them with a lil onion! Yum!

But really the food was good. Everyday we had a different ethnic group, for the different places we are going, and ate accordingly. ex. For Africa we ate with our hands, and wore long dresses to the floor.

We took cold bucket showers, and used porta potties! And let me tell you with 90 degree Georgian heat..They don’t smell too pretty! Lol. But honestly with no bathrooms it was freeing. I didn’t look at myself in the mirror for those 10 days, and honestly i didn’t miss it.

But although there were some hard times. God was there. We had these amazing teachings and worship, and team bonding exercises. We shared our testimonies and just got vulnerable with one another. It was 10 days ill never forget, and 10 days that will launch us into the next 9 months that we will be out in the mission field!
I leave in less than 50 days, It’s getting real!
Prayers appreciated!
Much love,
Carly Roselle
