The last few days in Thailand, our entire squad got to get together with 3 other squads to worship, build community, and hear other peoples hearts through a program called The Awakening. This is something that not many people get to do on their race so I was super pumped to be able to be a part of it!

One of the questions we were asked was who are you in the Lord? Do you know your identity in Him? I have always struggled with feeling worthy and knowing how God sees me is actually true. But these past few months, God has been revealing His love to me.

He has shown me that I am:

     ~worthy of His love

~His daughter whom He went to the cross for

     ~alive through Him

     ~a fearless fighter

While at The Awakening I got to sit on the balcony of the 8th floor with God. I asked Him to reveal Himself to me in a way that I had not yet seen. Immediately every noise that was going on around me was enhanced. The Thai music that was bumping down in the city made me want to get up and dance. The chirping birds and barking dogs brought joy to my heart. The sounds of the motorbikes, cars, and baht buses in traffic were more distinct than ever. Even though so much was happening and going on around me I only felt peace and joy in my heart. I asked God what is this? He quickly answered, “This is how I see you and this world. I get to hear and be a part of the worshiping noise ad it is beautiful. It makes my heart leap. When I look at the world down below my daughter, I hear it all and can distinguish between it all.” There are billions of people on the planet at this time, yet God sees us all and loves us all so deeply. It can be a difficult thing to grasp because we have such small minds but God knows who you are in Him. The big question is do you know who you are in Him?

I want to challenge you to ask yourself this question and write it down to remind yourself this when you have doubts or are struggling with feeling unworthy or to simply know Him in a new way.

“When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.” -psalm 94:19

This is a picture of the view from the balcony..so beautiful. God is so so good!
