The View
So here I am flying on the back of a dragon darting into and out of the clouds… WAIT WHAT? That’s not what you or I expected to find on top of the mountain. When we reached the top of the mountain all we saw were clouds. Clouds that reflected the brilliance of the sun. It was so bright. All I could think about was the radiance of the clouds, a radiance that immediately focused my attention on the Father. It was beautiful. It was glorious. And all of it pointed to the Father and how the Father is good and He is EVERYTHING we need. I was so focused on what I would see in front of me; it was still about me, but what I saw was all about Him! So here we are, me and Jesus standing on the very peak of the fountain surrounded by a sea of shining clouds, when two dragons come racing by. One dragon was glimmering gold and the other pure white. They flew in and out of the clouds until they came to the mountain and we proceeded to mount the dragons. Jesus got on the white one and I got on the golden one, then we flew to and fro, ducking in and out of clouds. We were playing in the glory of the Father. It was so overwhelming. So here I am flying on the back of a dragon with Jesus and I am just sitting here beholding the beauty of the clouds—that shroud the earth below. Wow! It’s such a beautiful, breathtaking view, when suddenly I see Jesus take off into the horizon and I know that the time has come to leave this mountain and fly into the unknown. I know that wherever He leads I am to follow; I am to leave that most beautiful valley behind because the view on top of the mountain is so much more beautiful.
