I sit here with just over 24 hours until I leave Oregon for Georgia. I have my bags packed all over again and I sit with even more expectation than leaving for the race the first time. I sit eager to hang out with my co-leaders and to prepare for the members of T-squad to show up.

I sit hoping and praying for the 46 racers that are starting to say goodbye to their loved ones and preparing to take a leap of faith. I’m excited for them to come and for this journey to start.

It’s been over two months that the race has ended. Since that day I have been on 11 planes, 4 different states, and 1 other country. I have been nonstop since that day, but I have seen the faithfulness and love of the Lord present throughout all of my business.

I have felt the warm embrace of so many of my friends and family almost everywhere I have gone, but thats just the thing… I have been so many places, doing so many things, but the time in the states has been the opposite of what I expected.

I have slept at home for a total of 16 nights since arriving back in the states. I have spent little time with my family, and it has not been what I expected whatsoever.

But it has been exactly what I needed in so many ways.

I got to spend a week camping with my church family from Oregon.

I got to spend time exploring my home state with my friends from Arizona and Virginia.

I got to visit Arizona and see all of my church and work friends.

I got to meet my T Squad family in Georgia.

I got to spend a week with my oldest brother scuba diving on a Caribbean Island.

I got to do so many things that filled my cup.

I am blessed by the two months that I had at home, but I am looking forward to the next nine leading and loving with T-Squad.

So continue to pray for me and my squad as we head to Guatemala in just over two weeks.

I couldn’t be where I am today without the love and support from all of you!

As you can see with the fundraising bar above, I still have $1,455 to raise and I am hoping to have that all in before I leave the country. Please consider donating to help me walk alongside the crazy Jesus-loving Gap Year Racers!

In Him,

Caleb Callaway

Sorry for the inconsistency with my blog since I have been back! When I’m on the field I plan to be consistent with keeping you all updated again!

Second, sorry for scatter-brained blog above! I just wanted to let you know all of the feelings I have as I leave this time around!
