When you go on the race God reveals so many things about yourself that you wouldn’t expect. These come in all shapes and sizes… From realizing the root of your insecurities to realizing your eating habits. In my case, that’s what God did.

Ever since the time I was 9 when I spent three months in Italy I have LOVED Fanta in Europe. Every time I came back to this beautiful continent that was the drink I always had in my hand. The first month on the world race was no different. I have been blessed enough to come to Eastern Europe, but I instantly bought a Fanta from the nearest convenience store.

I took advantage of that. I bought one every day, sometimes more. By the end of the month I had spent way to much of my spending money on something that I didn’t need and probably shouldn’t have had so much of.

This is what I’m talking about. God convicted me by the end of the month that this became a roadblock in our relationship. I was constantly looking for where I could buy a Fanta and that honestly got in the way of my relationship with Christ. It sounds crazy, I know… BUT God is using this to show me that this isn’t the only thing that is getting in the way of our relationship.

So what are my next steps in this? I obviously can’t keep drinking a Fanta everyday, for my health and relationship with the Lord. So I decided to give it up this month. I decided to give up ALL drinks except water.

This challenge isn’t something I want to walk in alone. So, what are little (or big) things that God is calling you to give up for a while to focus on Him? I want to hear it so message me please!

Month 2 has been amazing already! We are only a few days in and I have loved every second of it here. Pray for my team (Abundance) and I as our ministry this month is evangelism! Pray for God to open up doors and give us divine appointments to talk to the hungry and willing.

Thank you!
