Month 1 was amazing. With that, we got to explore and adventure a lot and I took a few pictures. Here is some of the adventures we took and the things we got to experience!

This is the street we lived on! We spent a lot of time walking up and down this streets building community with these awesome teenagers!

This is Mac. Mac is posing under a bridge.

Our first adventure day consisted of going to the beach in Novi Sad and adventuring the city!

This was the bridge that led us to the camp that we worked at the first couple days! One of the many bridges in Novi Sad, but this one was my favorite!

WE WENT TO CROATIA! On our second adventure day we got the chance to border hop and go to an awesome fortress for a couple hours in Croatia.

Our Squad Leader Davante overlooking Croatia at the fortress we went to!

Before we border hopped, our host took us to the largest national park in Serbia called Fruska Gora. This was at the top of the hike overlooking the city of Novi Sad

One of the main destinations of the hike was this right here. Hundreds of years ago monks would come and live in the forest for a full year fully secluded from society. In this room, they set up a church to worship in every day…

One of the last nights in Novi Sad, Mac and I got to go to a village outside of Novi Sad to stay the night at Emil’s house. I felt like a 15 year old all over again listening to music and staying up until crazy hours of the night. Emil will always have a special place in my heart. Love you little brother.

This is the squad. Not much needs to be said here.

This group wanted to show us their city’s fortress that overlooks the city. A lot of walking was worth the crazy awesome views.

For three days in the middle of the month Nathan, Mac, and I had the privilege of camping with 20 guys from the rehab center. This was the river we camped on, and this was the view we had every day.

This was the day that a 10 year old led us across the city to get burgers in the pouring down rain. We walked close to 3 miles and the kid understood little to no English.

This month was filled was so many adventures. These just happen to be a few of my favorite. In 4 days my whole squad and I are going to head to Romania for all squad month!!!
