Dear ______________,

Hello! I hope this letter finds you well. As many of you may know, for the past two and a half years I have been pursuing my Bachelors degree in Entrepreneurial Studies at Grand Canyon University. Recently I have attained that goal which is extremely exciting, but it brings about so many other emotions as well. Having spent the last 15 1/2 years of my life in school, I can’t help but be a little nostalgic that this season of life is finally over. With a degree under my belt, and a lot of motivation right out of the gate, I had to ask myself an extremely important question; What’s next?
With that huge question in mind, I can’t help but reflect on these past couple years living in this desert state of Arizona. I have had many ups and downs, and a lot to look back on and smile. But there is one thing that has been true throughout all of it, God placed a passion and drive on my heart that can’t be overlooked. In the short time I have lived here I have received the opportunity to travel to three different countries, making it clear that my passion for other nations is something that God wants me to use. After many hours of prayer and seeking guidance I applied for an 11 month long mission trip, going to 11 different countries.
The trip is called the World Race and is run through an organization called Adventures in Missions (AIM). While on the race, my team and I will be obedient to the calling God has placed upon us by partnering up with local churches and ministries to show the people a fullness that can only be found in Christ. We will be doing anything from preaching the gospel, planting churches, working in orphanages, working with those involved with sex trafficking, and bringing the restorative hope of the Father’s love to these communities. Through these ministries, community, and a discipleship program set up by AIM, my team and I will be more prepared and aware of the Kingdom calling that he has upon each one of our lives.
With an intensive trip like this, there will be extreme costs that come with it. To be fully funded by the date of departure (August 4th, 2017) I will need to raise $18,017. This cost will cover all of the field expenses throughout the 11 months. As you can imagine, with a cost like this comes the doubts and fears, so this is where I need your help.
There are two ways that you can help me along in this journey. First, is to support me financially, whether it be a one-time or a monthly donation, I would be extremely grateful and humbled. The second way that you can support me is through prayer. Prayer is what will get my team where we need to be, and is crucial to the success of our ministries. Without the prayer and support of those back home we could do none of what we are set out to do.
As I move farther along in this exciting journey that God has me on I will do my best attempt to follow up with you to answer any questions you may have. If you would like to follow my journey, become a prayer partner, or help out financially, check out my blog (calebcallaway.theworldrace.org) for any updates before and during the race.
I have no words to express how grateful I am to embark on this journey, and I cannot wait to see what the Lord will do in my life through this. I can’t thank you enough for coming along side me and embarking on this crazy journey, because I won’t be able to do it without you.

In Him,
Caleb Callaway
