Hey everyone!
First, I want to let you know that I’m currently in South Africa, serving with a kid’s camp in Pretoria. Every day looks different and the schedule always keeps us on our toes. It’s been an awesome experience and I will definitely be sharing more with you as the month goes on.
But this post is not about me, it’s actually about my friend and squad leader Davante.
Davante completed the race last June and turned around to go right back out on the field with us in August. Since then, he has been walking alongside our squad discipling and serving us. Most squad leaders only stay on the field for 5 months, but he chose to stay the entire 11 to continue on this journey with us. And I am so glad he did because he has been such a gift to our squad and especially my team this past month!
But in order for him to continue staying with us on the field, he needs your help. He has a deadline coming up on March 31st, and is still in need of $5,000 dollars. This man’s heart is just after the Lord and missions and I’d love to see him fully funded, even before the deadline. (You guys got me there, so I know we can do this!)
To help him reach that goal, my team and I are all doing an adopt-a-box with numbers 1-20.
How it works is, whatever number you choose, is the amount you donate. And this time, it’s a competition! Whoever fills their entire sheet the fastest wins and everyone else on my team needs to complete a dare. And I want YOU to choose it! So write your suggestions of dares in the comment section below and I’ll pick one. (Doesn’t that sound fun?!) Let’s do this!
