In our second month of Peru we had all squad month which means all 40 of us are all living together again. On Sunday we went to their church and sang and it was so cool how the English and Spanish came together. Sometimes I think about how we will all be in front of God in our different languages and be able to glorify him. After that service they had baptisms and I got to see more of my brothers and sisters that will be in heaven with me someday and it was such a good day to see and witness all those things!! In that moment I realized I want more missions and I want more of this kind of life.

We are also living by the beach and as I was going on a walk on the beach, the Lord asked me to write down my dreams and what I really love to do and I realized there are so many things I want to do. Like me playing soccer in collage or doing wedding hair as a side job and gaining new talents! Maybe even going to Africa someday. The Lord refreshed me and made me realize I have so much life to live and how to be a steward of my time. This gets me exited about my future and just giving him the desires he has placed in my heart and we get to sit and talk about the hope and future he promises me.

This month we also did a lot of VBS for the kids and I realized this is what i’m passionate about in ministry and so maybe one day I’ll lead my own VBS and be able to lead in that gifting he has given me. On some nights we would go out and evangelize and one thing I have learned through evangelism is that, it can be worshiping in a park or buying a drink from a store and asking the owner for prayer. It can look like praying for the people in the community silently, it can be asking the Lord for where to go and following his voice, it can be just having a good conversation with somebody and building relationships. Evangelism is showing people the love of the Lord and planting seeds.

For example, one day we were singing worship and giving testimony’s in this big park area and I met this girl who was the same age as me and she took me to feed fish by the stream and gave me something to eat and she actually showed me more love than I could show her because it was her home country and she showed me some of her life and it was so cool to be able to connect even if we didn’t speak the same language. She welcomed me so well and I felt so at home there. Sometimes you meet Christians and you get to build each other up and that is something that has been so cool and exiting about evangelism.
