So, first read my first daily bread blog so this makes sense. As we fly to Chili on to our next country, the Lord showed up in an amazing way! At the airport, I was reading Matthew 13:44, “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.” It’s my favorite because I love surprises and eternal life is a gift that we accept and don’t earn. I learned that the Lord likes to show me love through surprises. Right after that, one of our squad leaders Amie Beth http://amiebeadling.theworldrace.org/index.asp?filename=bio told me she had a key that said Daily Bread. She was having a hard time figuring out what it meant but, after reading my blog she decided that the key was actually for me. It was confirmed again that the Lord is showing me what it is like to trust him with everything, even something as little as daily bread. In the airport, I also feel stressed at times and I have to ask myself, who provides my daily bread? When there is chaos surrounding me, who provides my daily bread? When are circumstances in my life out of my control, who is my daily bread? This key is a reminder of the one who provides my daily bread.
