So I’m in my first week of being in ministry! For this first month, we are in a team of 35. Instead of going to Florida to get our flight, we went to New York on 9/11 which was the perfect thing because our team got to see the lights of where the towers once were.

Next, our team went to Portugal for our layover and we explored the city a little bit. It was stunning because of all the architecture. Wile, we visited Portugal, we began to minister and hear peoples story’s even off the field. This got me very excited to start doing ministry!

The Lord has been talking to me about getting out of my comfort zone and telling people about him. I usually don’t pray for people out loud, but today I got out of my comfort zone and began praying for people who had many hardships in their lives. Even if I didn’t have my words all put together, God knows I’m trying and that’s more than he asks of me.

Even though everything is changing in my life, my constant God is never changing. That is very comforting to me because usually, I want structure and stability in my life. God grants that stability and foundation for me. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” Isaiah 41:10.
