Hi, everybody! So you may be wondering what made me decide to do the World Race. Well, I was in Haiti last summer at an organization called GLA in Haiti. God really opened my heart to missions and orphans. What got me interested in missions was that I was an orphan. Helping children in the same position as I was makes me feel closer to God. After the first month in Haiti, I heard the volunteers talking about the World Race and how they wanted to travel around the world while sharing their faith. I only considered it a far fetched dream but was it really that far away? I felt that God was putting a desire in me to serve him and his people more. Without God I know I wouldn’t have this desire. This is where the story gets interesting, as I looked into the World Race, I found the perfect route! The nation I grew up in, Ukraine. I am so excited to share my journey with all of you guys. I am interested in seeing what my culture will be like and what kind of things God will do in my life. I will be going to Ukraine, Romania, Peru, Chile, and India.
