I have had a lot of people ask me what type of ministry I will be doing on the World Race. Ministry on the race can vary. Ministry could be doing things such as childrens ministry, helping orphans, street evangelism, construction, teaching English, or praying for the sick. But the main goal of this trip is to love people like Christ does. What I can tell you is that I have to go into this adventure with zero expectations. I do not know what exactly I will be doing every day, but God does. So I have to go into this with an open mind and heart and see what God has planned for all of us on this journey. I can tell you that it will not always be easy, and ministry isn’t really meant to be an easy thing. I am stepping completely out of my comfort zone. This trip is not about what I can do but it is about what God is going to show me. It is about growing in my own faith and sharing it with others who do not know Him. So with that being said, I cannot have any of my own expectations because this is entirely God’s plan. I am giving this all up to God because He is the one in control, not me.

UPDATE: I am about 80% funded! I have raised $12,177 and my total goal is $14,951. This means I have met my first 2 financial deadlines, the first being $5,000 by June 15th and the second being $10,000 by September. God is good! If you feel led to donate, you can donate on my blog site or send me a check written out to adventures in missions with my name on the memo line. Donations are tax deductible. Checks can take a while to process and update on my blog, so patience is key!

Also there has been a country added to my route! Due to visa complications in Zambia, we cannot stay there for a full 30 days. So we are also going to Zimbabwe! So exciting!!
Training camp is July 6th, which is next month! Can’t wait to finally meet my teammates and learn more about the countries I will be going to.

Thank you for all the support and prayers, they are greatly appreciated!
